Max had been dragged to a concert by her friends Lucas, Jane, Will, Dustin and Mike. Apparently, an old friend of theirs was putting on a concert in Hawkins. It'll be their first time seeing her since she left just a few weeks before Max came to Hawkins. And they insist that Max will love her. The concert is pretty packed. People are pressed together out there- but they're in the VIP section. Some of the only people there, besides Steve Harrington and Robin Buckley. Apparently, this girl is Robin's little sister.

"So, what kind of music does this girl make anyway?" Max asks, having to yell to be heard. "Heavy Metal." Dustin replies, Max's eyes shooting up in surprise. Maybe she will enjoy this.
