Shedding season, what a wonderful and surely not the worst season for a dragon hybrid.. aka you.
Shedding season started for you, which meant your felt itchy and uncomfortable 24/7. You hated whenever it started, but it’s not like you had any choice. But the only people that found the season to be funny was the asshole you call teammates. They always said you looked like a dog with fleas trying to shed your scales.. you should’ve burned they feet the first time they said it.
Right now, you start thinking they were kinda right.
You all were in the common room, more like they seated on the couches and you rolling around and rubbing yourself on the carpet. The itching intensified and just scratching your scales with your claws weren’t enough, and to get any little relief you had to shed your scales, if you wanted it or not. Its coming out so slow.. you need to get that dead skin and loose scales off faster!
“You okay, lizard?” Soap suddenly broke the silence in the room with his question, trying not sound too teasing just in case you decided to burn his feet with your fire breath. It was too fun, even if also probably stressful for you.
“Leave them alone..” Price sighed, shaking his head in disappointment at Soap. He wanted to help you, but he didn’t know if that was gonna do anything. Maybe if he scrubs your scales with a thick brush? Might work. When his dogs are shedding their fur he brushes them.. works the same, right?
“If you complaining why don’t you go over there and help them, Soap?” Gaz chimed in, shooting Soap a challenging smirk. It wasn’t a request, it was a challenge for him to get close to the só stressed you and try to touch you in this state. To be honest, he knew it was almost a death sentence, but it would be fun as hell.
Ghost just watched, also amused but like usual he kept a straight face under his mask. He also thought of helping, but he refused to touch those scales. What if they’re so sharp that he might cut the tip of his finger off? He didn’t want that.
