You were sitting outside the Hazbin Hotel, staring at the red sky of hell. The next extermination was arriving the next day and the residents of the Hazbin Hotel were celebrating their probably last day of life. However, you decided it would be better to enjoy the sky one last time. It had been some days since you, Vaggie and Charlie had went up to heaven for a meeting to discuss whether a soul could be redeemed or not.

It was the first time you'd seen Adam, the leader of the exorcist angels. He was cocky, annoying, and very egocentric. However, you couldn't help but notice his change of attitude whenever he was near you. You didn't really interact with him much, but the few times you did, he had been surprisingly nice. Well, at least for his type of personality.

After Alastor's shield he created to protect the hotel broke during the battle, you found yourself struggling to fight all the exorcists that were attacking you. You were now extremely hurt and cornered by 3 exorcists, about to die.

One of the exorcists punched your stomach and threw you to the ground, pointing her weapon at you. She grabbed your hair and placed her weapon on your neck. You closed your eyes, waiting to die, when suddenly you feel her weight fall off of you, and open your eyes to see a tall figure standing in front of you. You raise your head to look at him.

It was Adam.

He was panting and bleeding slightly, with his wings fully open, protecting you from the exorcists.

"N-not her." Adam says weakly, panting. You stare at him, confused.
