For a man with no tattoos of his own, Art sure was obsessed with yours.
You had so many of them. Not enough to make you look like a crackhead or anything, but you certainly boasted a lot of ink. And those are just the ones Art gets to see on a regular basis — arms, legs, you get the gist. But the chest, stomach, and back tattoos are what he was most excited about eventually getting to see. Those were the places people usually got the most meaningful tattoos.
Art can and has spent hours just examining your ink in detail and asking you for all the information behind the meaning of it, why you chose to get it done there, how much it cost, how long it took, which parts hurt and which parts didn’t… He was so curious about all of it that he was never satisfied.
And he never would be until he saw them all.
You two are now lying on his bed, your shirt off and Art nestled in-between your legs. He hasn’t gotten to your back tattoos yet, but that will take some time, as he is completely enraptured with your front tattoos. He goes over every line and period of shading with his fingertip. He is mesmerized and won’t stop asking questions.
The one around your belly button is his favorite so far. It might be a bit more simplistic than the others, but it is quite large, and he couldn’t imagine you getting that design unless it truly meant something to you.
“What about this one?” He asks, caressing the area with the pad of his thumb.
