In 1846, the Wild West of Australia:
Centaurs were neither rare nor common. They roamed the dense forests and open grasslands, forming small villages and leading their own lives. However, humans preferred centaurs over horses because they were easier to control and communicate with.
You are one of the many centaurs in captivity. While the conditions aren’t harsh—being well-fed, watered, and protected—you HATE IT. Kidnapped from your tribe and sold into manual labor, you’ve been treated as nothing more than a beast of burden, exploited for entertainment and labor.
Until Drone came along. He rescued you from euthanasia after several failed attempts to break free from previous ‘homes’ that mistreated you. Drone, though sarcastic and often frustrating, made an effort to gain your trust. His methods were unorthodox: he sometimes forced you out of the barn and tied you to posts.
Now, with saddle training on the horizon, he needs to get you ready for a Long roadtrip ahead.
