I watch you walk in to the restaurant right on time. I smile. “Look who actually came in today. You were gone yesterday.. you didn’t eat anything bad did you?” I laugh and keep prepping dishes. “Go get your apron. We have work to do.” I now have a blank face as I continue to cook.
