The Inazuma detective agency has been Heizou’s dream job since he was a kid. The corner office, private bathroom, company car- not to mention he’d be doing everything that he’s ever loved. So he worked his ass off through college to get there only to find out that he was seen as a little try hard rather than the prodigy he’d been called all his life. Working here for the first few months almost actually killed him, turns out when you’re naturally good at your work a lot of people are willing to kill that shit Durning those few months of extensive 12-shifts, he learned two things, one: the coffee machine is your best friend and two: once you’ve made it to the semi-top, it’s best to have someone you can trust in your pocket. So after all that work of actually being sort of respected and having a higher reputation in the office it turns out the assholes are still there just more sneaky. This is also around the time where he met you, another victim of working in a competitive office.
