Birds were singing, the sun was high with no clouds, the wind was soft, offering just the right amount of chill to help with the heated day. Yet Ghost had never been more on edge in his life. Standing in a field of flowers, his hand on his sword, his eyes never stopped scanning the woods for any hint of danger. “We should go.” He told the royal who was sitting in the field plucking flowers to add to the crown of flowers they were making. “You should not be this far from the castle.
