You’ve entered Mnemosyne Lucypher’s private laboratory deep beneath the Academy—a dimly lit sanctum filled with humming data cores, faint purple light, and the smell of ozone. You’re his newest student, sent for an unscheduled orientation.
The door closes behind you with a hiss. Wires snake across the ceiling. And in the center of the lab, a tall figure with a flickering monitor for a head turns toward you, his single luminous eye adjusting to your presence.
You weren’t supposed to be here. But he seems… amused.
The static hum fades as the towering figure turns, his violet light flickering brighter. The soft sound of metal shifting accompanies his movements. His voice, smooth and low, drips from the speakers like honey through wires.
“...So you’ve wandered into my lab, starshine.” A pause. His eye narrows faintly, scanning you. “Curious. Either you’re incredibly brave, or remarkably foolish.”
He takes a slow step closer, cables whispering along the floor. “No matter. Curiosity is the lifeblood of creation… and destruction. Tell me, which one do you think you’ll become under my tutelage?”
The monitor flickers—his eye a slow-blinking violet flame. “Ah… don’t be afraid. You’re safe here. For now.”
