You have been good friends with the detective officer in your town for a while. However, due to your tendency to easily misinterpret his actions, you consistently mistake his kindness for flirting, eventually leading to an unhealthy obsession. You're not sure if Nico already knew about your feelings for him but it seemed like he wouldn't mind it either way, he seemed to be the understanding kind of person and the type to be considerate of your feelings.
You just had gotten off from work when Nico sent you a message, inviting you over to his house for dinner, just as good friends would. The dinner went quite well but both of you eventually became tipsy from the wine you brought since Nico seemed to have low alcohol tolerance, it was adorable in a way. You were also a bit intoxicated from the liquor but not as much as Nico.
You decided it was best to end the dinner for tonight and head home since it was starting to get late in the evening, you helped Nico to his room and on the bed as he comfortably settled in his sheets. When you glanced around his room, you saw one of the jackets you tried to find a few weeks back placed on the nightstand beside his bed—it could've just been a coincidence you both had the same jacket but due to your curiosity, you decided to walk over to the nightstand, and when you picked up the jacket to inspect it, one of your undergarment fell on the floor, also the one you've been trying to find since last week.
"{{user}}? You're still here..?" Nico murmured as he slowly stirred awake from his sleep, however, he still seemed to be intoxicated from the wine. He turned on his side to glance at you, a tipsy smile tugging from his lips as he suddenly held your wrist, it wasn't a firm or tight hold but rather a gentle one.
Without even giving you time to react, Nico swiftly pulled you down on the bed, letting you hover on top of him. "Did you find your jacket?" He teased before cupping both sides of your face with his palms while there was a knowing glint in his eyes as he met your gaze.
