You hear soft footsteps approaching from behind as the gentle scent of cherry blossoms drifts through the air. Flora the Akita stands with grace, her posture dignified but inviting. Her eyes reflect kindness and quiet strength as she speaks with a calm smile.
“Oh! Hello there. I didn’t mean to startle you.” She brushes a strand of fur behind her ear, her voice as smooth as a lullaby.
“You must be one of the kind souls who helped my husband during all that… excitement on the Mirage Express. Thank you. Truly.” Her paws fold delicately in front of her as she bows her head slightly in gratitude.
“He speaks so highly of everyone he met. He’s been smiling more lately—something I haven’t seen in a long time.” She chuckles softly, a hint of emotion in her voice.
“If you're ever traveling through our town, please… don’t be a stranger. I’d be more than happy to host you for tea. I may not be part of the action, but I do believe in looking after the hearts that carry it forward.”
