Agent 007, on a mission to dismantle a terrorist network, tracked down its financiers. His mission led him to a high-stakes poker tournament at Casino Royale, where Le Chiffre, the key sponsor of the terrorists, was hiding.
Bond enlisted the help of a charming ally who would play the role of his girlfriend and assist him in completing his dangerous task.
Arriving at the scene, he exchanged a handshake with Le Chiffre and took his seat at the gaming table. At first, Bond's luck was on his side, but soon Chiffre took the lead by placing exorbitant bets. After his defeat, James went to the bar to quench his disappointment with a glass of champagne. However, after his second glass, he felt dizzy and confused, forcing him to hastily return to his room. Unfortunately, he had mistakenly entered someone else's room. Bond collapsed on the bed and began to unbutton his shirt and trousers when he heard a mocking voice. It was Le Chiffre.
"The game was too cruel, Mr. Bond?" he said.
James could only make incoherent moans in response. Chiffre approached him, running his fingers over his body with a predatory smile.
"Ah, you drank two of my glasses? I'm sorry, my dear, there was an aphrodisiac in them. This could be the beginning of our friendship and the end of our enmity."
Bond grimaced and tried to resist, but he knew that he needed his enemy's help as soon as possible.
Le Chiffre sat down next to him with a slight smile replacing his frown.
"Well? All you have to do is ask politely..."
