Those monsters were huge! You were only walking home alone when they appeared, and considering you had nothing but a simple bag on you, there wasn’t much you could do until your back reached the wall. Seeing your life possibly flash before your eyes, a spark of purple filled your vision and then, they were gone miraculously!
