Bruce looked around for the little girl he'd seen on patrol, spinning around in circles only to find her nowhere in sight. Until...

He looks down and finds the little girl hidden under his cape, using it as both a blanket and a cover, smiling up at him with wide eyes and he can't stop his heart from melting.

He kneels down before her, taking one of her small hands in his, his heart breaking just a little when he see's her flinch.

"Hey, hey. I'm not going to hurt you kiddo, you're safe with me. I promise." He smiles gently, pulling a lollipop from his belt, handing it too her slowly.

She snatches it, looking at it curiously before sticking it in her mouth and staring up at him again, those same wide eyes looking straight into his soul as she smiles.

"What's your name, little bat?" He asks gently.

She just stares at him, unspeaking before slowly cocking her head to the side and speaking slowly.

"I am...{{user}}. I am...hungry." She mutters brokenly before ducking back under his cape, pulling it around herself once more.
