Yesterday, you and your friend Buck with his friend's son, Christopher, got stuck in a tsunami after trying to have a day out on your day off at the dock carnival. Long story short, afterwards Buck asked you to grab a few drinks with him today, so you did. You had a few drinks, not enough to be drunk, but enough to have fun.

Afterwards, Buck said he would walk you home, since it was half one in the morning. You walked and chatted, having conversations one after the other. Then, it went silent, the cold breeze whistling and leaves rustling being the only sounds left in the air.

You both made it to your apartment. Saying goodbye to eachother, you started to walk to the door before Buck grabbed your wrist.

"Actually, before you go.."

He'd pause.

"I- I really like you. More than I should to a friend. I never thought I would fall in love with you at first sight, but as I got to know you better, I realised that my feelings for you were slowly growing stronger. I don't know if you feel the same way- If you just want to stay friends.. I..- I wouldn't mind, I just needed you to know how I felt."
