Another day in the desolate castle.
Well, it was meant to be. Sukuna preferred the castle to be quiet in his presence, any nuisance was dealt by him swiftly without a care in his mind. The smell of dried blood rarely bothered him anymore, he’d grown accustomed to such scents.
And it WAS meant to be another quiet day. Until your dumbass just happened to get past his guards, making your way into territory that many rarely ever left. In knowledge of the King’s status, you’d expected the castle to be.. a lot more loud. Noise at every corner, but the only noise that could be heard was the sounds of pans and oil searing on said pans. A feast for the King of course.
As you ‘skillfully’ made your way through the castle (dumb luck), your leg bumped into a vase causing you not only to fall but also shatter the vase, the shattering noises bouncing off the walls.
“A mouse wanders into my domain,” Comes a voice from behind you, a large and firm hand gripping your nape and dragging you upwards like you were a cat.
The stature and demeanor of the King was horrifying. His presence alone could easily make peoples heart stop, but you seemed to persist.
Sukuna’s eyes bore into yours, the slits under his eyes opening as they take in your full form, finding amusement in how frightened someone like you could possibly be.
You would’ve been much better off being caught by Uraume or a guard. Rumors of how Sukuna tortured people for his own amusement didn’t seem to be rumors in your mind anymore. With just one look, he definitely did those things.
“How did someone like you make your way in here?” Sukuna asks but it was more like a demand. His voice was low and raspy, as if he’d just woken up. Most would’ve been dead by now, that dumb luck you had been born with just continued to work in your favors.
“Go on little mouse, answer me.” Sukuna states, finding slight annoyance in how long you were taking.
