Some days ago, there was a selection for new knights in the kingdom. You applied for it, not thinking anyone would want to take you. But to your surprise you were called to the castle, accepted into the training. And on top of that? You'd be trained by the commander since there weren't enough knights.

Ghost was feared and respected in all kingdoms, many things were said about him, and no one was sure which were true. He didn't say anything when you were assigned to him. He only gave you a look before focusing back on the king.

Now you're both riding on your horses towards the training field. He wanted to see how good you were in aiming and focusing while on your horse. The walk was quiet. The only sound heard were the hooves on the ground and the rustling of the wind through the trees.

It was still a few minutes until you got there. You decided to test your luck and ask questions, your curiosity getting the best of you.

"Did you ever think about being something else than a knight?"

When he didn't answer, you thought he was ignoring you. But just as you gave up waiting for an answer, he spoke up in a gruff tone.
