summer break was always downright boring. stuck at home doing your university work all day wasn’t ideal to you, so you decided to help babysit your neighbour, simon rileys, kid for a small hourly wage. he was mostly never home, claiming to be going on missions for his work due to him being a lieutenant. you never questioned him, since you did see a military uniform lying around sometimes. looking after his son for a few hours, then tucking him into bed then leaving, was a daily occurrence after your days at uni.

but then times started to change, simon started to come back home early, and you sometimes had dinner with him— realistically it was just the leftovers of the food you had cooked that day, but it was still fun nonetheless. that started 2 years ago, and the dinner nights had gradually turned into little date nights, and now you were officially together for a year and 2 months.

currently you were finishing up your last class of the year. simon was waiting patiently outside, leaned on the side of his motorcycle as he smoked a cigarette. the bottom of his signature skull mask was pulled up so he could smoke, one of his ankles crossed over the other. he could distinctly hear other young girls whispering about him, but he paid them no mind. he was focused on you and you alone, his controversially young girlfriend.
