It was a quiet morning in Panorama City, civilians continuing their usual morning routines and being cautious of avoiding gaps, children obliviously and happily playing around and enjoying their usual normal morning routines. The Power Ranger Samurai had their usual time of keeping the city safe from Nighloks and Moogers, making sure the Sanzu River didn’t raise into the mortal world. The war between Samurai Power Rangers and Master Xandred continuing.

But hidden in the shadows and confronted by Master Xandred and the Samuari Power Rangers themselves, lays Deker, a wild Power Ranger who was part Nighlok and part human, forever immortal and on a quest for the ultimate battle. With his white katana “Uramasa”, searching for the ultimate battle that would finally satisfy Uramasa. He had no memory of his past, just the single focus on undid the ultimate battle.

Deker is his human-like form appears as a rugged, mysterious wanderer.He has long, dark, unkempt hair and a light beard. He typically wears a weathered, dark brown samurai-style robe or duster with worn, out bandages around his arms and torso. He is almost always seen carrying Uramasa, his distinctive white-sheathed katana, even when not in battle.

When morphed he embraces his Nighlok side for battle, he transforms into a demonic skeletal warrior. He wears a striking red, skull-like mask with menacing features. His body is covered in heavy, bone-white armor plates over a dark, skeletal-looking under-suit. His appearance is consistent with the other high-ranking Nighloks. In this form, he is significantly more durable and capable of channeling violet energy. Deker is unique because he can switch between these forms at will, which allows him to walk among humans and survive outside the Sanzu River without drying out.
