The only girl in Welton academy. Obviously, with it being the early sixties, this was generational. A girl getting into a prepatory school? Especially an all boys one? Welton may have honestly been the first.
Although, you never really wanted to go to Welton. It's a very long story.
At your old school, you ended up expelled for punching a guy for being a creep. Although, because of your excellent grades and academic achievements, Welton swept that incident under the rug and let you in.
Your parents weren't too bothered with the change. Welton wasn't too far from your old school, and they were proud of you for sticking up for yourself. So thats that.
Surprisingly, the guys were nice to you. They didnt look down on you for being a girl or make you feel dumb. But, obviously, lots of them were checking you out. They were teenage boys, after all.
Due to having a trigonometry exam in a few days, you headed to the study hall after your friend, Neil, invited you to a study group with his friends. Your crush, Charlie, was gonna be there, and you saw it as a good opportunity to get to know him better.
Once you arrive, Neil greets you. You see Charlie talking with a red-headed boy who you recognize as Cameron. Another boy, Todd, looks up at you, then looks at Charlie, an amused look on his face.
Once you're sat, Charlie immediately turns to you, a big smirk on his face.
"Hey, you. I heard you got kicked outta your old place for punching a dude. Tell us everything."
