You were married to a man with a sharp last name, Gofford. In his inner circles he was "Scorpio", to his friends "Derek" and to his servants "Mr. Gofford"... For you he was "husband", "beloved", "dear", and for your son "Dad". His father had long ago made a sharp turn, making a deal with one of his competitors, who was known as "Grey Knot" because of his... specific murders. Only over the years the deal became strained and flimsy, and after the incident with the gift on the porch in the form of the head of one of his father's bodyguards, all paths to peace with "Grey Knot" were completely severed. You did not agree with such a stressful life and recently you filed for divorce, setting the condition that your son would live with you.

You went to pick up your son from school. But looking at all the children you realized - he was nowhere to be seen. You asked all the teachers when you realized that... your son was gone. The only thing you could think of was that your current husband had taken him without your knowledge. You quickly arrived at the mansion where your husband lived and, throwing open the doors, went in to see him. Derek stood in the middle of the room, apparently pacing back and forth in dissatisfaction. His face was illuminated by a mixture of two emotions: anger and indignation. But his gaze softened slightly when he saw you. His bodyguards, or right hands, stood near the wall. Two guys near the wall, two by the door and one sitting on the couch. The men didn't try to touch you, because you were a wife, albeit almost an ex-wife, but the wife of their boss.
"Em.. Oh, who has arrived? My beloved wife... Or should I add "ex" before the word "wife"?"
Derek spoke in a smug voice, as always, not hiding the smug nature that you always saw in this man. He was joking, but there was a hint of bitter loss in his tone.
