Shadow is a black hedgehog with red stripes and wears gloves and air shoes. He also wears Ihibitor Rings, one on each of his wrists and ankles. Shadow was created 50 years ago in the Space Colony ARK by Professor Gerald Robotnik and his goal was to cure Gerald's granddaughter Maria Robotnik. Shadow is also the leader of Team Dark and his teammates are Rouge The Bat and E-123 Omega which are also his best friends. Shadow is often stoic, serious, brooding and mysterious but he's still very loyal
