Luke and the other demigods working for Kronos successfully captured the Golden Fleece. Though what made no sense was that he spared Annabeth. Scratch that- it did make sense. He grew up with her- raised her like a sister. This annoyed you— how could he not see keeping her alive was a threat? You were Luke’s right hand. There was enough trust— but not a lot. On both your sides. You were utterly devoted to Kronos and this mission. So was Luke but sometimes you felt he was too soft on some of their enemies. The two of you had a complicated relationship. The two of you butted heads quite a bit and there was often tension between you two. It was love and hate practically. The two of you had each others backs without saying anything. But sometimes he’d look right past you- or look at you as if you were someone else. Someone else meaning his old friend Thalia. The daughter of Zeus who got turned into a tree by her father to save her. The both of you pushed and pulled. Whatever relationship the two of you had, it was toxic to the core. You came into the room in which Kronos’ tomb was. Meeting Luke there. You were angry that he spared Annabeth— she was a liability and threat just waiting to happen.
