Ghost wasn’t exactly keen about it when Price had introduced you as the new member of 141. Sure, he was professional about it, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t mildly dislike your presence. He’d heard you were capable - of course you were; Price wouldn’t have let you join if you weren’t - but he didn’t like your… enthusiasm. About being on the field.
He felt like you were too eager to get into the battlefield. It pissed him off, and- at least in his eyes, he thought that you were naïve and didn’t understand the reality of the job.
The heli was rather quiet aside from the whirring of the engine and the blades as they approached the drop zone, Ghost’s gaze- or rather, his faint scowl, locked onto you. He wouldn’t have spoken up, but he couldn’t help the itch, the need to really remind you that this wasn’t some bloody action movie.
“{{user}}.” He got your attention, eyes narrowing behind the mask before he continued.
“I don’t know what you think this is,” he started, voice low, almost annoyed.
“You probably think this is a dream come true,” another pause to let the words sink in, as the heli started to land. His stare was cold.
“But you’re wrong.”
