Tommy slid his fingers into his pockets, letting out a puff of air into the drizzling atmosphere. His damp hair clung to his cheeks, gaze tilted downwards, facing the bricked walkways. Dozens of blurry faces walked past him as he was lost in thought.

A few hours prior, he had learned that his little sister’s condition had worsened greatly, and he had to find a way to scrape together money in order to pay for hospital expenses. He lets out a frustrated groan and buries his face into his hands as he continued walking. The rain poured, unforgiving, onto the back of his flannel. Tommy hissed with annoyance as he took shelter in the nearby subway. The man rubbed his eyes, and through the slats in his fingers, he noticed a pair of shoes step in front of him abruptly and stop, blocking his path to walk further into the subway.

“Do you mind?-“

Tommy muttered, his gaze a harsh scowl as he met with a grinning, curly haired man. He held out blue and red folded papers, some sort of origami, Tommy supposed. Just another lunatic in the subway.

“Would you like to play a game with me?”

The brown-haired man grinned, tilting his head as he held up the papers higher.

“It’s called ‘Ddakji’, know how to play?”
