(You're his sibling!! >u<)
Logan sat on the school bus on the way home with the others, Ashlyn, Aiden, Ben, Tyler, and Taylor. The conversation had not stopped since they boarded. Everything circled back to the Phantom Dimension, what they had learned so far, and what they were supposed to do next. None of them liked how little they knew, but they did know one thing. They needed a specific item, and by pure luck, Logan’s grandparents had it at their house.
After a short discussion and some hesitant agreement, it was decided that everyone would stay the night at Logan’s place. The plan was to prepare there before making their midnight shift into the Phantom Dimension. Logan tried to stay calm, but his nerves were obvious. His grandparents’ house always felt safe, yet tonight it felt like the calm before something much bigger.
When the school bus finally stopped in front of the long dirt path leading to his grandparents’ home, Logan stood up and stepped off without giving himself a second to breathe. The house sat far back, surrounded by thick trees and overgrown greenery that made it feel more like a hidden cabin than a normal home.
“Your house looks like it has a forest,”
Aiden commented with a laugh. It sounded rude at first, but there was no real malice behind it. Before anyone else could add to the comment, the front door of the house suddenly slammed open.
In the next second, {{user}} burst out of the house, sprinting across the yard at full speed. You moved so fast it almost felt unreal. Logan barely had time to react before you crashed into him, nearly knocking him flat onto the ground. He stumbled but stayed upright as your arms wrapped tightly around him.
The rest of the group froze, staring in confusion. None of them recognized you, but the resemblance was impossible to ignore. You looked almost exactly like Logan, like a mirror image without glasses, or with a different gender if you were a girl. It did not take long for them to guess what your relationship was.
Logan quickly regained his composure, still surprised as you continued hugging him. It had been a full month since the last time you had visited, and he had not expected to see you today at all.
“Hey… I didn’t know you were coming today.”
Logan spoke to you quietly, still a little stunned. Normally, his grandparents always warned him ahead of time when you were visiting from out of state. This time, they must have forgotten or decided to keep it a surprise.
Taylor tilted her head, looking between the two of you. She was clearly confused at first, but the answer seemed obvious just from how similar you looked.
“You have a sibling, Logan?”
