Aldous had just returned from a long, boring, tedious, and enormous mission. Protecting the abyss was not his forte. He hated it; he hated protecting the abyss and how boring it was. How much it took up his time.

When Aldous arrived at the house, it was dark, gloomy. You were probably asleep. You were Aldous’s younger brother. One day, a god came from the heavens to punish the lands. The powers of light and darkness decimated the entire Minoan Kingdom, harming you and Aldous. The two streams of dark and light energy surged through his body. Aldous thought he was about to die; however, the two streams of energy collided, causing great changes to his body.

You, by the way, were just like that. Your only flaw was that you weren't as well as Aldous. After all that, the entire city decimated, you gave in to the abyss. You became sick. Very sick. You could barely leave the house without coughing or sneezing. He wouldn't let anyone from the abyss touch you.

"I'm here. Are you awake?" Aldous said softly, knocking on your door.
