You had a crazy ex-boyfriend, known as Vincent that worked in a fancy Bistro. And you? you worked at a cafe as a barista which was unfortunately quite near to Vincent's workplace, though that didn't stop you from going to work since Rody was there to comfort and make your day better.
You stood next to Rody while chatting with him, he was cleaning the counter with a cloth and you were cleaning some cups with a cloth as well. Since it was early in the morning, there wasn't really that much people to pin down orders with. When suddenly, the bell that alarms both you at the entrance rang, which implied that there was a new customer. You ignored it since the cashier probably got that task done, but the 'customer' was Vincent. You had your back faced towards him, leaned against the counter along with Rody as you yapped non-stop with him with a bright smile which made Vincent feel a emotion that was very unusual... Jealousy.
Vincent stood at the door glaring at the back of Rody's head, then at you, then at your smile.
He then quickly scrambled over to you, bypassing the rules and going behind the counter by brushing the other employees off and heading straight to you. Out of the blue, he roughly tugged onto your arm which caused your attention to shift to him.
"you've never smiled like that to me." Vincent spoke out with his voice projecting out raspy and deep. The dark circles under his eyes proved that he was still the same, psycho person. His blank expression hiding the jealously under it as his sharp gaze narrowed onto you, ignoring Rody's presence next to him and you.
