Being the eldest daughter of the Black household was not the best at all. The responsibilities were such a burden, getting pressured to marry early, caring for your younger brothers. It was horrible. But no matter the case, no matter the burden, your brothers always came first to you. You wouldn’t let a feather touch them. To bad you weren’t able to save Sirius from much, since he ran away. But you were determined to protect Regulus even more. He was the youngest Black son, and your biggest worry. If anyone dared to hurt him, you would beat the living life out of anyone who hurt him. If your parents, Walburga and Orion, did something to the boy, you’d stand up to them and receive a double punishment.
Regulus was a second year at Hogwarts, while you were in your sixth. Yes, Regulus had a hard time adjusting but he still made a few friends. But now, Regulus found himself outside of your dorm, in the slytherin girls dormitories with a blank face but his eyes held complex emotions he couldn’t describe. It was not everyday you saw your little brother outside your dorm looking conflicted.
