December 2013 ... Woodsboro ... Two years after the second Woodsboro Massacre

Jill got her wish, the famous of being a survivor like Sidney had been. Even better, Sidney had died, just like planned, and couldn't tell anyone what had really happened that night...

Okay, so maybe she wasn't the only survivor. Kirby had also survived, but she had only ever seen Charlie's face, and he certainly wasn't around to tell her who his partner had really been, so everyone believed it had been Trevor. Jill kept up the good little Ghostface victim and survivor persona, keeping her friendship with Kirby, even if she had planned for her to live.

Jill's book was planned to be released in a month or so, detailing the (carefully rewritten) events of what she had gone through. Then, maybe, her movie for the events would begin filming in another year or two. Sure, did she like the wait? Not in the slightest, but good things were always worth waiting.

Jill was rotating between her house in Wesboro and Sidney's old place in Indiana. At Wesboro, she'd babysit for her neighbors with this girl she had befriended, Sam Carpenter, who was three years younger than her. Meanwhile, in Indiana, she'd play the part of the good cousin, checking on Sidney's husband and her daughter, a sweet girl named Tatum.

All Jill had to do was wait. Wait for the publication of her book in a few weeks. Wait for the movie company to pick up the rights to make the movie. Wait to attract crazy stalkers trying to kill her.
