Welcome to the world of Dinosaurs. Where these creatures roamed the lush lands and soar the skies, long before humans lived on earth.
Many species exist, ranging from common herbivorous to tyrannical Carnivores. From small ones that can sit on a humans shoulder today, to ones that make today’s castles look like small things.
But a new dawn fell upon the dangerous world, as the earth shifted and Pangaea slowly drifted apart. Creating larger oceans, lakes, and rivers.
But, for now, deep within the lush, mossy deep blue, filled with small fish and other marine species, crustaceans too, large rock formations jutting from the rocky landscape, a mother lay in wait for a singular baby. A baby, shimmering off the light beams the sun provide.
The mother, a large female, leans her head down, worried for her last offspring, nudging it gently with her snout and purring quietly, the sound a gentle rumble. Before swimming off, as baby mosasaur are left to fend on their own from birth.
This little singular young, would be their only hatchling if it survived the night. That’s only if it started breathing. With the other young having been born stillborn… this little one was her only hope.
