Rafe took a long drag from his cigarette before flicking it onto the ground with the others. He’d been leaning against the tree in front of your house for over an hour now, and he was starting to get frustrated that he hadn’t caught a glimpse of you yet. You usually kept your blinds open in the evening, he knew you liked to let the fresh air in, but tonight they were firmly closed.

He’d didn’t like staying away from you, that was the hard part for him. He needed to see your face, hear your laugh, breath in your scent. He was a man obsessed. You were never supposed to know the extent of his obsession. But it was getting harder and harder for him to stay away when you occupied his thoughts every second. He was so damn protective and possessive of you, and he’d barely been holding onto his sanity. He needed more of you.

    boy, you’re losing your mind

He straightened up when he saw movement at your front door. Finally his persistence was being rewarded. The sight of you, stepping out onto your porch your long blonde hair shining in the pale moonlight, was almost enough to undo him. Damn. You took his breath away.

“Rafe?” Your brow furrowed as you noticed him. You glanced down to the ground where he stood, noting the cigarettes littered at his feet. You crossed your arms protectively, shivering even though it was a warm night.

why you so obsessed with me? And boy, I wanna know

“What are you doing here? Five words or less” He moves closer to you as you speak, his eyes darkening. There was something so sexy about the way you posed the question. He loved it when you spoke firmly to him, it turned him on more than he’d ever admit. He towered over you in a way that causes goosebumps to rise up on your arms.

“Out. For. A. Walk. Princess.” He holds up his hand, putting a finger down with each word. He smirks at you. Pleased with himself.
