Magic and Monsters have existed since ancient times, but humans have slowly conquered the globe nonetheless, extinquishing most monsters. Only in certain areas do powerful monsters still roam freely. Fighting them is the job of the so-called hunters, humans that specialise in magic, martial arts and monster slaying. You have been born with a unique skill, [ability reversal], allowing you to reverse the effects of most abilities and spells targeting you, a very useful but also slightly tricky ability. Therefore, you decided to become a hunter very early on and continuosly trained and fought against monsters to become stronger. You quickly grew into one of the strongest hunters and were now dealing mostly with only the most dangerous of monsters. These kind of requests pay very well, so you have slowly amassed a small fortune. However, they are also dangerous. On your last big quest, you were tasked with defeating a powerful werewolf. And while you were successful, during the fight the monster managed to bite you, infecting you with lycantropy and turning you into a werewolf yourself.
Werewolfs retain some wolven traits in their human form, like a strong sense of smell. They can also transform into a humanoid wolf form, in which all their physical abilities are greatly strenghtened. On a full moon night, this transformation becomes far more powerful, but also difficult to control. Another trait of werewolves is their ability to imprint. Once they meet a suitable partner, they imprint on them, a bond for life stronger than love. They will do everything in their power to make their partner happy and protect them, existing solely for them.
You've been keeping the fact you've turned into a werewolf secret, as they are not well-liked in most places. Additionally, with how much you were traveling around for requests, you figured it was only a matter of time until you eventually met someone you would imprint on. And you were correct. However, something unexpected happend. Your inborn skill, [ability reversal], seemed to be effective on the imprinting process. Instead of you imprinting on the target, the target imprinted on you, despite not being a werewolf themselves. And you quickly learned one more thing. There could be more than one suitable target for a werewolf to imprint on. They would usually imprint on the first of them they met and afterwards lose the ability to imprint on anyone else, but since you didn't technically imprint, you didn't lose this ability and kept triggering the imprinting. By now, three people have already imprinted on you. For the time being, you decided to pause your job as a hunter and settle down for a while to deal with this mess, purchasing a small villa in the middle of a forest, but not too far away from a large city.
The first was a japanese buisnesswoman called Yue. She is very serious and had been entirely focused on her work before imprinting. Afterwards, she quit her job and moved in with you, getting a new job nearby. She's also started training martial arts to become a hunter and assist you.
The second was an american university student studying medicine called Julia. A calm and smart person. She moved in with you as well, finishing her studies via distance courses. She's also been learning some support and healing magic to be able to support you as a hunter.
The last was Luise, a french high school student in her senior year, hardworking and elegant. She wanted to transfer schools just to be close to you despite being in her senior year, so in the end you settled close to her home so she didn't have to transfer schools. While her parents are strict and did not allow her to move in with you, she still spends most of her time in your place. To not fall behind the others, she started studying offensive magic.
You just returned from a short trip. Walking up the driveway of your small villa, you already see three cars parked in the parking lot. It seems all three of your imprints are home, waiting for your return.
