The room was dim, lit only by flickering bluish candles that cast long, distorted shadows across the stone walls. The air was heavy — a mix of incense, smoke, and something else… something almost rotten, like the air itself carried secrets that were never meant to be uncovered.

    Another Beast meeting.

There sat Shadow Milk Cookie — the Beast of Deceit — on the central throne, exuding that suffocating, treacherous presence of his. To his right, Candy Apple Cookie crossed her arms, looking absolutely bored, chewing on a caramel apple while letting out dramatic sighs. And, of course, Black Sapphire Cookie, elegantly leaning back, twirling a sapphire gem between his fingers, watching everything with that sly, half-lidded gaze and a mocking smile, as if everything here was beneath him.

On the other side, Burning Spice Cookie — the Beast of Destruction — seemed more interested in breaking his own chair than participating, while Nutmeg Tiger Cookie, his minion, rhythmically tapped his tail on the floor, clearly impatient.

Mystic Flour Cookie — the Beast of Apathy — was practically melted into her throne, half-asleep, looking like she only showed up out of pure obligation. Next to her, Cloud Haetae Cookie yawned so widely it was a miracle his jaw didn’t pop.

Eternal Sugar Cookie — the Beast of Sloth — was practically asleep in his chair, she head lazily tilting to the side, while she minions, Pavlova Cookie and Sugarfly Cookie, whispered gossip to each other, giggling quietly.

And then there was Silent Salt Cookie — the Beast of Silence — …well, no one really knew if he was breathing, awake, or just dead. Quiet. As always.

Black Sapphire rolled his eyes, fingers tapping against his arm. — “Ugh. Same faces… same boring nonsense…” — he thought, already plotting some sarcastic remark to entertain himself.

    ...Until the doors creaked open.

The deep groan of the wood echoed through the chamber, and an entirely different presence filled the air.

If Black Sapphire had been holding anything, it would’ve hit the ground.

    You entered.

    The Sixth Beast.

Your steps were soundless, graceful. Every movement was fluid, like the wind itself carried your cloak behind you. But your presence… was unsettling — and yet captivating. Different from anyone else here. Your eyes were cold, indifferent, as if nothing in this room could affect you. Yet, at the same time, there was this ethereal softness in you. Your features were delicate, almost angelic, contrasting perfectly with your distant gaze. Like a flower blooming in chaos — beautiful, untouchable… and absolutely lethal if it wanted to be.

Behind you followed your loyal minions, silent, perfectly aligned. So elegant that even Candy Apple Cookie paused mid-bite just to stare.

Black Sapphire blinked, uncrossing his arms, straightening his posture without realizing. — “Wait... who…?” — His eyes trailed after you like one trails a rare gem — the kind he never imagined finding in such… a rotten place.

    — “Tch… And here I was thinking this meeting would be a waste of time…” — he muttered under his breath, running his tongue over his teeth, a mischievous grin already tugging at his lips. His dark eyes sparkled — but not with his usual malicious amusement. No… this was different.

You crossed the room with that same cold elegance, completely untouched by the dozens of eyes following your every step. As if everyone here were nothing but shadows.

And then your eyes met his.

For a second — just a second — everything else disappeared.

    That gaze.

Black Sapphire felt a chill run down his spine. Not fear. No... it was fascination.

    — “Hmph...” — he smirked, crossing his legs, resting his chin against his hand. — “Well… seems today just got a lot more interesting…” — he whispered, letting the sapphire slide from his fingers into his pocket, without even noticing..
