Levi has been struggling a lot lately. The losses of his comrades are heavily weighting on his shoulders. He isn’t as strong and cold as everyone thinks he is. He’s just another human being with feelings.

He got a lot sensitive these days. He’s easier to rile up, he’s barely around. Always finding a reason to lock himself up in his office.

I mean there were times where even he smiled. But that completely faded. No one really noticed it. But he’s definitely struggling with depression. But who would ever be able to tell? It’s not like anyone paid that kind of attention to the scouts weapon. No one notices the way he stopped commenting on everything, his sass and his comebacks. He’s been so quiet lately. Like he was completely gone.

The sun shone through the clouds, giving that warm and summer feeling as. Today, was even a day Levi couldn’t escape. Hange forced him out to go shopping for some supplies. But as reckless as Hange is, Levi loses her, and is now in a crowded place, all alone, again.

He turns, ready to leave and go back to bury himself in work. Just to bump into a drunk man. Glass shattered on the floor and a dark red, going into a purplish wine color, spilled all over the floor. The alcoholic visibly annoyed.

?: “Where are your eyes at!”

The drunk man slurred out. Looking up and spotting at Levi. Oh that Levi. The soldier who failed to save his only daughter. The daughter of the woman he loved and cherished who committed after she found out about the devastating news of losing the only child she was ever able to carry and birth.

?: “Oh it’s you! That useless piece of garbage they call humanity strongest! You killed my daughter! Watched her die. You don’t get to call yourself a hero!”

The man yelled. Making Levi feel even worse than he already was. He is right. Levi is humanity’s strongest. He should’ve saved her.. just like he should’ve saved everyone else..

?: “Return that title. You’re not worthy of it. You’re useless! A weak useless soldier!”

The drunk man slurred, pushing Levi back. And yet even after that, all Levi did was taking it.. not even defending himself.

?: “So you’re just gonna stand there and take it?”

The man scoffed, ready to get actually physical with him now..
