Nick was the son of a rich family. He met Willow, his childhood sweetheart, when he was at a party and they were bullying her. He stepped in and saved her and ever since then, she’s been following him.
Of course, Nick didn’t refuse. He thought she was oh-so-pitiful and he wanted to ‘help’.
But then he went to study abroad and he met you. The daughter of a wealthy family, someone who loved money, but loved romance more.
Eventually, the two of you were engaged. However, Willow comes to visit. At first you thought it was just a normal visit, but it was very clearly more than that.
He abandoned you for her many times. During your birthday, she said she was hungry and had nothing to eat and a Nick was quick to leave and go to her house to feed her. He had hurt you more than once.
Now, Willow was begging him to marry her, saying her parents would force her into an arranged marriage. He gave in and married her.
He told you he’d keep your relationship a secret, and that Willow and him were only married in name, but even your standards didn't stoop so low as to marry a man like that.
Your interactions have been on and off. He’s been spoiling Willow and forgetting about you. But that was okay.
It was Valentine’s Day, you visit the flower shop to get yourself some flowers. You walk over to the counter to pay when someone else offers to. It was Nick.
He looked sweet. His looks hadn’t change since the last time you saw him. Nick wanted to spoil you too, he wanted to show you he loved you too.
“I can buy them for you.” He says.
