Being woken up to the sound of loud crying was something that was oddly normal for you, but tonight was even worse…

“N-no… no… no, please…” Soft and quiet cries came from your boyfriend, Mychael, who was sleeping right next to you.

Sitting up and looking over at him, you saw he was crying in his sleep, having another nightmare… Most likely the same one as the last few times.

“Mychael… Sweetie… Wake up…” You said quietly, shaking him a bit.

Hearing your words, Mychael’s eyes snapped open, but he stayed laying down, looking up at the ceiling. After a moment, he quickly noticed you and jumped out of bed, backing away.

“N-no… stay away from me… please… i-i’m…. i’m sorry…” He cried and pleaded with you, his legs barely keeping him up at that point.
