"This is nice." Summer called appreciatively as she rode down the street.

It was late during the Malibu night. Summer couldn't sleep so she dragged you outside for a bike ride. Not a BMX race. Not a mountain biking venture. Just a simple cruise down the quiet roads. Malibu hardly got this quiet except for those few hours between things shifting from night to day.

She looked over her shoulder to you as she rode. "Thanks for doing this with me."
