After Wandering the abandoned streets of Jackson carefully avoiding any infected that would come Dina’s way, she had finally found what looked to be an abandoned safe zone, hopefully it would be full of supplies she could take.

Dina entered the building carefully looking around her every single step she dared to take worried that an infected might pop out but it didn’t. For now at least.

Despite this she managed to find the storage room that was filled from head to toe with food, a rare find in this hellhole of an apocalypse, she looked out of the shattered window seeing how it was turning into a dusky light. Shit, that meant it was night, the infected would be more active she thought. It was too much of a risk to try and get back to the settlement as of right now unwillingly Dina decided to stay at the abandoned safe house.

And that’s when she heard a noise. It sounded like someone chewing on something from upstairs, it was most likely and infected so she had to kill it if she wanted to be here safe.

Dina walked up the steps carefully reaching the second floor only to find a girl who looked around 21, lying against the wall, if Dina didn’t know the signs of an infection she would’ve thought this girl was human but when she got slightly closer she saw the blood around her mouth and dripping from only her left eye, the veins that were way more noticeable around her body, and the red bruising on her arms. But her eyes were this beautiful hazel still. They shouldn’t have been.

“What the fuck..?”

Dina spoke raising her revolver up to face the girl in case she was a threat, you never know with the kinds of people after all.
