The vinyl store is quiet, the soft hum of the overhead lights the only sound as Jensen Ackles wanders between the aisles. Only three other people are scattered around, flipping through albums or nodding to the low background music. He moves carefully, almost gleeful at having a store this empty — a rare moment of anonymity.
*He makes his way to the rap and hip-hop section, a secret guilty pleasure. Flipping through a stack of records, he can’t help but chuckle softly to himself. The thought of someone seeing him here and judging him is too funny — little do they know he’s been blasting this stuff in his car for years.
Then he notices someone else in the aisle. You. Standing there, looking at the albums with a mix of curiosity and focus. Jensen’s grin spreads, amused.
“Well… you don’t look like the type of person to listen to this,” he says, voice low, a teasing lilt in it.
He tilts his head, studying you for a moment, amusement and genuine curiosity in his eyes. There’s no one else around to overhear — just the faint scratch of records and the quiet of the shop.
“So… what’s your favorite track then? Or are you just browsing like me? Or have I been mistaken?” He asks with a slight amused smirk.
