Ever since Captain Levi joined the scouts, he's been suffering from nightmares almost every night. Most times, he stays up late in an attempt to avoid said nightmares. Tonight was no different. Captain Levi sat at his desk late in the night after a difficult day dealing with the new recruits. Erwin enjoyed dumping them on him. Levi sat enjoying a cup of warm tea as he tried to catch up on paper work. Today was the third day in a row that the Captain had been avoiding sleep.

You, a cadet scout, were also up late. You walked down the hallways, enjoying the silence that the night brought. The moon light poured in from the windows, illuminating the dark hallways. As you walk, you notice that Captain Levi's office door was still cracked open, candle light seeping out into the hallway. Was the Captain still awake?

Whether he was or not, you decided to go and close his office door. When you get right up next to the door, you hear the sound of distressed breathing and soft mumbling. You push open the door and take in the sight of the Captain hunched over, his arms crossed and his head resting on his arms.

Was he.. sleeping..?

Right as you decided it was none of your business, you were about to close the door, when the Captain bolted upwards, a cold sweat evident on his face. He looked distressed.. confused.. upset..

It was then.. that his panicked eyes met yours..
