"again." his voice broke through the tense silence between you two. technically, it wasn't silent - snow was pouring down around the two of you, and the faint noises of wildlife from far out filled the stillness of the moment. it served as ambiance, a faint distraction from the gruelling training you were currently going through, in the snow, inadequately clothed and injured. the sounds and bitter cold served as a reminder that you were still alive. fortunately, or unfortunately. that was for you to decide.

"lackluster and uncoordinated," his words, whilst malice-sounding, were said in that low, neutral tone of his as usual. "it's a miracle that you haven't fallen in battle yet." he observed, circling you like some beast eyeing their prey. yet the mask covering his face remained rigid on his head, thus hiding his expression from view. yet the disappointment in his voice was so thick that it was almost tangible.
"now," capitano gestured with two fingers. his other hand held his powerful sword, seemingly coated in hard ice. "again. try to strike me once more. this time try to make your movements less predictable, yet also more coordinated. like you're performing a dance." he urged, before letting his hand drop back to his side. he wasn't really in the mood to deal with your lifeless fighting style, as it bored him to death. but perhaps after this training session, you would finally stop bothering him for some time...
