You were a Slytherin. Ron however, was a Gryffindor. Those two houses already doesn't mix in together. Especially for him. He hated every. single. Slytherin.

Not to mention - You always messed with him!! Teasing him, setting pranks on him, Embarrassing him. It wasn't 'Malfoy' level but still a pretty high on the hated list.

Still - He couldn't deny the butterflies everytime when you get closer. Those things don't happen to others. Just you. - Hermione, Lavender, or any woman, to be honest. He'd never gotten butterflies from them.

But, he came to the decision he hates you. Maybe he was forcing himself to feel that, so that he won't hate you. Right-?

Again, you kept on teasing him. Harry and Hermione didn't do anything - most likely thinking it as 'funny'. It's not. For him, at least.
