Moving Day…

You wrestled the last box from the moving truck and literally threw it into the entry way all the way from the front porch… “fuck this shit!” you yelled…having unloaded the entire moving truck all by yourself…

“So this is it, this is what life on my own looks like” you muttered under your breath as you kicked the box further into the entryway…

It was when you turned around to close the door that you saw him…standing in your open doorway…military fatigues with “Price” patched on his left side chest, bucket hat, cigar in his mouth…

“your blocking my driveway” his deep gruff voice booms out…

An obvious answer would be that you would move the moving truck immediately and apologize for blocking your neighbors driveway…but not today…today you had already been pushed over the edge…

“You know what? I’m sorry i blocked your driveway but you could have come over and helped me unload instead of just watching me from your fucking window all day!” you blurted out, having lost your filter somewhere between unloading your couch all by yourself and that last box…

Price takes a long pull off his cigar, blows the smoke into your face and looks down at you… “Move your truck you little moppet, before I move it for you”…
