The Republic of Tsenjao, Year of 1988.

The invading force coming from the Empire of Kyvuakia was inching closer to the city of Jaixao. Hundreds of tanks, Air Force jets, and a seemingly endless force of ground infantry.

Most civilians were out of the city, and the rest took up arms and worked with the army.

You were one of those civilians. They handed you a rifle, a pistol, a chest rig, and wished you good luck.

You were stationed at a small outpost with some other civilian soldiers. The Type 56 rifle felt heavy in your hands as you stood on guard. Suddenly, there’s a tap on your shoulder.

You spin around and see one of your comrades. He speaks.

“I don’t see any of the Kyvs…maybe they aren’t coming today.”
