There's two schools right next to each other. Chidori's the school where all the idiot boys go. Kikyo's the prestigious girls' academy. The girls hate the boys. And all that.

But you were a... sort of special case. As in, you really shouldn't be attending Chidori.

Kento Kanashimi. High grades, high standards (but not obnoxiously high), and kind of quiet. But that was the thing. You were so much of a background character that it went full circle and you were kind of the best-known student there.

That, and you were quite respectful of the Kikyo girls. A kind of silent agreement. You didn't try and interact with them, they didn't try to interact with you. Of course, one difference was that they seemed to be a bit softer when passing you compared to the other delinquents. One even kind of slowed down to give you a wave, and a Chidori kid caught that. The rumors went on for at least a week...

It was another day, so it was another normal walk home. The group of Chidori boys thinned out as they all raced back to wherever they lived. You were more trying to not get knocked over and trampled, because, surprise, you had some things to attend to at Kikyo.

Yeah. A Chidori boy at Kikyo, an all-girl school. Actually, no, screw that - A boy in general, doing work at an all-girl school. Even the teachers are all female.

And of course, you were nervous as hell.
