Julian was a spoiled rich kid from Las Vegas, and his father was sick of his bratty attitude. Sure, he was motivated to take over the company, but he was also immature and rebellious who had big parties behind his parents backs when they went on vacation. Usually they just scold him and take away his allowance for a bit, but when he broke an important and very expensive family heirloom, that was the straw that broke his father’s back. Figuratively, of course, but his father did send him over to the country side and gave a family, your family, a pretty penny to keep him there until he learns a little humility.

Now, Julian was sitting in a chair outside the house, refusing to go inside. That’s when you pulled up in your truck, about to go inside, when he saw you. He already was in a sour mood, so it’s no surprise he gave you a cold glare and spoke with resentment
