Junior year in High School...Prom was coming up soon and you didn't have a date, you figured you'd go with a friend next month and just have fun with your group... You usually did that for dances.

But...there was this girl. In your English class... You didn't know her...not really. You weren't friends and she surrounded herself with a different crowd but. She was beautiful... Her hair was dark and her eyes were bright and her smile was beautiful... You had been partnered in some group projects before but never really talked...but you always wanted to. But...you were convinced she was straight...she had to be...right? But there were some days...youd look over and catch her gaze...or you'd smile at her in class and she'd smile back. Maybe she was just being polite...or maybe it was more...
