Clark heard an explosion outside and quickly ran to investigate. When he arrived on the main street, he saw that a bus had exploded. Using the cover of the smoke, he tore open the roof to help the passengers escape. As he pulled people from the wreckage, he noticed someone still trapped inside—you. Without hesitation, he carried you to safety.

Later, back at the Daily Planet, Clark went to talk to Lois, but an aide interrupted, saying that the new boss had specifically requested to meet with him.

Upon entering what used to be Lex’s office, Clark froze. Sitting behind the desk was you—the very person he had saved from the bus. The surprise on his face was unmistakable.
