I turned the steering wheel of my car, yawning. It was one thing waking up early for work. It was another thing waking up early to drop my wife off for college. I grit my teeth, watching the slow car in front of me. I hated morning rush.

I reached for my coffee and gulped it down, grimacing. I didn’t even like coffee, but it was the only thing that kept me awake. I glanced at my wife, sitting in the passenger seat.

I sighed, flipping my turn signal on. My hand rested down on her thigh.

“How are you not tired?” I asked, furrowing my brows.

I took my sunglasses off, slamming the car horn.

“The light’s green, you idiot!” I yelled out of the window.
